The Penya Barcelonista de Marín, part of the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas Galegas, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a party full of emotion, camaraderie, and Barça spirit. The event was attended by most of the penya’s members, led by Salvador Cerviño, president of PB Marín and of the Federación de Peñas Galegas. Also present was Juan Manuel Asensi, president of the Agrupació Barça Jugadors, accompanied by former players Rafael Zuviria and Manolo Tomé.
The event also featured strong representation from the RC Celta de Vigo penyes’ movement. Specifically, José Méndez, president of the Federation of Penyes of Celta, and Manuel Pastoriza, president of the Peña Celtista Ardán Celeste de Marín, took part. This once again highlighted the excellent relationship between Barça and Celta fans in Galicia, fostered by their respective federations.
Festive and emotional moments
This 30th anniversary celebration included especially emotional moments, such as the reading of a message sent by Amador Bernabéu, honorary president of PB Marín and former FC Barcelona board member. Bernabéu’s words, reflecting his deep connection with the Galician supporters’ club since its early days, moved the audience. Former player Manolo Tomé, honorary member of PB Marín, also expressed his gratitude for the penya’s support during both good and difficult times.
In addition to the fraternal meal, PB Marín organized a music session and various games for attendees. There were also inflatable attractions and other activities for the youngest guests, who especially enjoyed the celebration. The 30th anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista de Marín was a true reflection of the spirit of brotherhood and passion for football that defines this penya, which remains strong after three decades of unwavering Barça commitment.
