The Penya Barcelonista Lleó de Dues Cues (FCB World Federation) gathered around 40 members to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Czech penya. The event took place at a restaurant in the city of Brno, where the supporters shared a day full of emotion and blaugrana community spirit. The presentation was led by Ondřej Janeček, president of PB Lleó de Dues Cues, together with one of the founders of the penya in 2011. Pavel Misar, honorary president of PB Lleó de Dues Cues, was also present.
The event included a tribute to the members who have already been linked to the penya for 10 years, who received commemorative coins, as well as a raffle among those attending, who also took home a scarf marking the 15th anniversary of PB Lleó de Dues Cues. The commemorative cake was also present, recreating the new Spotify Camp Nou. The celebration was rounded off by Barça’s five-goal win against Valencia, watched together by all those attending. The event reaffirmed the vitality of PB Lleó de Dues Cues and its determination to continue promoting Barça-related activities and gatherings in the coming years.
Several penyes gathered in El Papiol
For its part, the Penya Blaugrana El Papiol, from the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat, recently held a blaugrana fellowship lunch to mark the 43rd anniversary of its creation. The blaugrana entity brought together around fifty people at a restaurant in its town to share a day filled with a festive and Barça atmosphere. Among those attending, there was a notable presence of members of numerous penyes who wished to accompany PB El Papiol on such a special day, including PB Sant Andreu de la Barca, PB Sant Cugat, PB Collbató, PB La Pulga de Castelldefels, PB Almeda, PB Manresa, PB Montserrat-Monistrol, PB Navarcles and PB Solera Calella, among others.
The event was led by the president of PB El Papiol, Antoni Lorenz, and was attended by Jordi Murillo, president of the Federació de Penyes del Baix Llobregat; Alberto Manga, member of the Agrupació de Jugadors del FC Barcelona; Jordi Bou, mayor of El Papiol; and delegated councillor Francesc Ordoño. They all celebrated the local penya’s more than four decades of history and took part in the traditional cutting of the commemorative cake. The event also featured a tribute to one of the board members of PB El Papiol.
