The territorial Federations of penyes have started the year 2024 in a very active way, and several of them are already holding the first assemblies with the entities of their territory. Last weekend it was the turn of the Federació de València i la Marina Alta and the Federación de Andalucía, Ceuta y Melilla, which brought together most of their supporters’ clubs to plan the coming months.
The Federació de Penyes de València i la Marina Alta held its assembly last Saturday in Denia, specifically in Baleària Port. With more than 60 attendees, 24 penyes of the federation were represented, with the president of the Federation, Miquel Gomis, at the head. The Denia Town Council was also represented. Among other issues, the assembly reviewed the latest report from the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, and also began planning events such as the Meeting of Penyes, which is likely to be held in Denia itself in early summer. There were also new developments in the composition of the entity’s board of directors.
Meeting and talk in Palos de la Frontera
The Federación de Peñas de Andalucía, Ceuta y Melilla also had an intense weekend in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva). On Friday, a meeting of the Federation’s board of directors was held in the town hall, headed by its president José Adame, and attended by the mayor of Palos de la Frontera, Carmelo Romero. A talk-colloquium was also organised, with the presence of more than 20 penyes from this area. There, information was given on the projects of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes and the next Convivium of Peñas Barcelonistas de Andalucía, Ceuta and Melilla, to be held in Almerimar-El Ejido on 10, 11 and 12 May, was presented.
The following day, the Federation organised various activities such as a talk on health in sport aimed at children, as well as various cultural visits to El Rocío. It was a full day of blaugrana passion in the province of Huelva.
