As every year, the members of Penya Barcelonista Lleó de Dues Cues (FCB World Federation) came together to celebrate their traditional Summer Meeting. The event was once again held in the town of Žabčice, south of Brno, where more than 80 people gathered, including friends from other penyes such as Penya Barcelonista de Varsovia, who traveled from Poland. The event was organized by members Jirka and Pája Schrömer and attended by the president of PB Lleó de Dues Cues, Pavel Misar.

After an informal reception and a first fraternal meeting on Friday to welcome the early arrivals, Saturday hosted the main activities. The gathering opened with a discussion about the past season, the transfer market, and travel experiences. Also, a financial summary was presented, along with the plan for the upcoming season, and the collaboration with the CK CoolCamp agency, which organizes trips to Barça matches, was also discussed.
Elections were held for the new vice presidents of PB Lleó de Dues Cues. Ondřej Janeček was elected social vice president, while Jakub Trojan became the new web vice president. It was also announced that Michael Chrobok, deputy editor of the online media SMARTmania.cz, would be the new editor-in-chief of the penya’s website. Finally, six members were honored with a commemorative coin for their 10 years of loyalty to the blaugrana entity.
Football takes the spotlight
The second part of the day featured the traditional football match between members of PB Lleó de Dues Cues, the V Memorial Tomáš Sebrala, which was once again full of excitement and camaraderie despite adverse weather. The penya awarded individual prizes for best player, best goalkeeper, and referee of the match, and also held a raffle with many prizes for all attendees.
Sunday’s breakfast and a visit by some members to a nearby local fair marked the end of this summer meeting of PB Lleó de Dues Cues. Once again, it was a very special weekend for all members of the Czech supporters’ club, one of the most active internationally. Its president, Pavel Misar, thanked the organizers and all attendees for making the event possible.
