On Saturday 8 October, the Supporters’ Clubs World Confederation held a new plenary session at its headquarters, with the participation, either in person or online, of around 40 members, including presidents of territorial federations and other representatives of the Penyes Council. During the meeting, all of them discussed the Confederation’s current projects, and expressed their commitment to continue working to build the future in collaboration with FC Barcelona, based on the confidence and clear desire for unity among all the blaugrana family.
Also present at this new plenary session of the Penyes Council was José Hidalgo, secretary general of Aficiones Unidas, an organisation of which the Confederació Mundial de Penyes is a member along with 35 other supporters clubs federations from LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and the 1st RFEF. Hidalgo defined the Confederació as a benchmark in terms of activity and organisation, and also presented new Aficiones Unidas projects for its members. Discounts on televised football, better ticket conditions for visiting fans and a new app with all kinds of advantages are some of them.
