Official inauguration of PB Vilalba dels Arcs

Members of the new supporters’ club in the Federació Terres de l’Ebre shared a very special day that also saw the inauguration of the penya’s headquarters.

Penya Barcelonista Vilalba dels Arcs, part of the Federació de Penyes de les Terres de l’Ebre, recently celebrated its official inauguration with a very special day dedicated to supporting Barça. The supporters’ club, which was officially recognised at the beginning of 2026, brought together a large number of its members for the first time to share a day that also saw the inauguration of its headquarters, which will serve as a meeting point for local Barça penyistes.

Marina Bada, president of PB Vilalba dels Arcs, hosted a day attended by special guests. Representing the Confederació Mundial de Penyes were Ramón Fibla, president of the Federació de Penyes de les Terres de l’Ebre, and Sisco Pinyol, the Advisory Council delegate for the region. FC Barcelona was represented by Josep Ignasi Macià, a member of the Club’s Board of Directors, and Pere Valentí Mora, former Barça player and vice-president of the Agrupació Barça Jugadors.

Inauguration of the penya’s headquarters

The day began with a reception for the authorities and the signing of the Town Council’s book of honour, at a ceremony led by the mayor of Vilalba dels Arcs, Laura Domènech, accompanied by all the town councillors. Afterwards, PB Vilalba dels Arcs officially inaugurated its premises, a space where penya members will be able to share memorable Barça moments, take part in various activities and watch broadcasts of matches played by Barça’s teams.

To round off the day, a community lunch brought together nearly a hundred attendees, who had the opportunity to have their photographs taken with the Liga, Cup, Champions League and Club World Cup trophies. It was a very special day that will be fondly remembered in this small town in the Ebro region. Following its official inauguration, PB Vilalba dels Arcs is already preparing new activities and initiatives to continue fostering support for Barça among its members, such as organising a coach trip to attend a Barça women’s match at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
