The Penya Barcelonista Cabanes (Federació de Penyes de les Comarques de Castelló) recently opened its new headquarters with a very special event. The supporters’ club brought together a large group of its members, as well as representatives of other penyes in the province, Barça fans from Cabanes and members of the municipal council. The new headquarters aims to become a meeting point for blaugrana supporters in Cabanes and a place to share their passion for Barça and promote the club’s activities.
PB Cabanes president Miquel Pitarch led the opening, which he approaches with great enthusiasm and the conviction that it marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Barça supporters’ club. Watching the Sevilla-Barça match together, which ended in a Barça victory, provided the perfect finishing touch to the opening of the new headquarters in a thoroughly Barça atmosphere. PB Cabanes thanked everyone who attended the event, as well as Cabanes Town Council and the other Barça penyes in the province for their support.
Approaching the 25th anniversary
The opening of PB Cabanes’ new headquarters comes at a particularly significant time, as the Castellón supporters’ club will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, in 2027. To mark this milestone, Cabanes will also host the Meeting of Barça Penyes from the counties of Castellón. These two events will make it a very special year for the supporters’ club and for the wider Barça movement across the municipality.
