Once again, the Barça Legends felt firsthand the warmth and passion of FC Barcelona penyes during one of their international matches. On this occasion, the setting was Indonesia, where the blaugrana legends traveled to play a match against the DRX World Legends team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. Members of Penya IndoBarça, one of the most numerous and active supporters’ clubs across the Asian continent, did not want to miss the opportunity and gathered in the country’s capital to share a day that many will remember for a long time.
Blaugrana passion and a convincing victory
In total, around one hundred members of Penya IndoBarça came together, representing various local chapters spread throughout the country, including Jakarta, Depok, Cikampek, Bekasi, Tangerang, Jogja, Medan and Sidoarjo, among others. The supporters made themselves heard on the city streets with chants and blaugrana symbols, and inside the stadium they were welcomed by several players before kickoff. Names such as Rivaldo, Javier Saviola, Philip Cocu, Vítor Baía, Patrick Kluivert, Sergi Barjuan, Jonathan Soriano, Juan Pablo Sorín and Marc Crosas all expressed their gratitude for the support shown by PB IndoBarça.
The match against the DRX World Legends, featuring stars such as Alessandro Del Piero, Claude Makélélé, David Silva, Franck Ribéry, Míchel Salgado and Fabio Cannavaro, ended in a convincing 3–0 victory for Barça. From the stands, members of PB IndoBarça supported the FC Barcelona legends nonstop, clearly showcasing their strong blaugrana passion. The players were quick to celebrate the final victory with them, bringing a perfect day to a close for Barça supporters in Indonesia.
