Last Saturday, the Peña Familia Blaugrana de Panamá (FCB World Federation) was proclaimed champion of the Super Cup of the Interpeñas Tournament of their country. The blaugrana team, reigning champions of the Interpeñas League 2024, faced the Peña Consulado Boca Juniors of Panama, winners of the Interpeñas Cup 2024, in a very exciting final that ended with a tight result of 5-4 for the PB Familia Blaugrana. Once again, the match was characterised by the sportsmanship between the two finalists and the good atmosphere that defines this beautiful football competition between penyes in Panama.
With this Super Cup, the Peña Familia Blaugrana de Panamá seals its particular double title, after celebrating the Interpeñas League trophy in July last year. This tournament brings together 10 Panamanian supporters’ clubs of teams such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, Boca Juniors and River Plate, among others, and is marked by fair play and great excitement in all its matches. After celebrating this Super Cup title in style, the members of the PB Familia Blaugrana de Panamá are already preparing to compete in a new league tournament in the coming months, in which they hope to revalidate their status as champions.
