The Can Amiguet Civic Centre in Barberà del Vallès filled with young Barça fans for the eSports Tournament organized by Penya Barça Barberà (Federació Vallès) together with the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. The event, held as part of the town’s Summer Festivities celebrations, was a great success in terms of participation and sold out all registrations, with a total of 50 players aged between 10 and 18. They all shared a morning full of excitement at the controls, as well as harmony and a great atmosphere.
The competition, played using the EA FC26 football simulator, began with an initial group stage that determined the players who qualified for the round of 16. From there, the knockout rounds shaped the path to the grand final. The matches were followed with intensity, as the players showed a very high level, and also generated great anticipation among the large crowd that filled the room.
The prizes for the winners were items related to FC Barcelona, Penya Barça Barberà and the Confederació Mundial de Penyes. There were also gifts for all participants in the eSports Tournament. The awards ceremony was led by the mayor of Barberà del Vallès, Xavier Garcés, together with councillor Gemma Vilardell. Representing Penya Barça Barberà were board members César Callejas and Ramon Pelegrin.
