The PB Cambrils and the PB Sant Adrià de Besòs stay committed to the fight against ALS

The penya from Tarragona collaborated for another year with the Swim for ELA initiative, while the one from Barcelonès Est took part in the 8th Sant Adrià Popular Race

The Penya Barça Cambrils (Federació Tarragona Nord) collaborated once again with the Swim for ELA initiative, which celebrated its 4th edition last May. Several members of the penya participated as volunteers in this day of solidarity that mobilizes the town of Cambrils; specifically, they attended the bar service and served hot chocolate to the other volunteers, as well as to the swimmers once they finished the race. This 4th edition of Swim for ELA consists of a 23 km open water swim by teams, starting in l’Ametlla de Mar – Port of Calafat and finishing in the Port of Cambrils. Penya Barça Cambrils has collaborated in all editions.

The Penya Barcelonista de Sant Adrià del Besòs (Federació Barcelonès Est) recently participated in the 8th Sant Adrià Popular Race for ELA. Several supporters of all ages took part in the walking format of this initiative, and they did it wearing a PB Sant Adrià de Besòs t-shirt and the flag of the entity, thus putting the blaugrana touch to the day. With nearly 1,400 participants, the 8th Popular Race for ALS was a great success. Part of the proceeds from the race and all the donations made were donated to the Vall de Hebron Hospital for ALS research.
