In addition to the massive trip to Seville, the weekend saw two other major European milestones where the penyes were also protagonists: the qualification of Barça femení for the Champions League final and the Youth League title by the U19 team. Both teams had the support of the penyes in the stands and celebrated their success with them.
Party in London with Barça Femení
In London, the Penya Blaugrana London organised a pre-game party on the occasion of the 2nd leg of the Women’s Champions League semi-final between Chelsea and Barça. Once again, the London supporters’ club demonstrated its great mobilising power and its ability to generate atmosphere on big occasions. The Penya Tsunami Blaugrana, the Penya Almogàvers and the Penya Totes Unides Fem Força, who travelled from Catalonia to attend the match, also took part in this meeting, which ended with an entourage to the Stamford Bridge stadium. There, the penyes were thrilled with another great game from the team and celebrated the fifth consecutive Women’s Champions League final. The players and the staff were especially grateful for their presence. The final in Lisbon will see another massive mobilisation of penyes.

PB Ginebra, a true talisman in the Youth League
The other great Barça achievement is the new Youth League title won by the U19 team. The Final Four of the competition was held in the city of Geneva, and the local supporters’ club, the Penya Barcelonista de Ginebra, did not hesitate to act as a host. The penya members were present in the stands for both the semi-final against AZ and the final against Trabzonspor, and were a true talisman for the team coached by Belletti, who won 4-1 and lifted the trophy. The entire squad and the coaches thanked the members of the PB Ginebra for their support. Once again, the widespread presence of penyes all over the world allows all the teams to feel supported wherever they play.
