The Fan Club Barça Polska, which belongs to the FCB World Federation, organized last weekend its II Tournament of Supporters’ Clubs of Foreign Teams in the town of Piotrkow Trybunalski, located southwest of Warsaw. In addition to theFan Club Barça Polska team, the competition brought together six other supporters’ clubs of European teams: Milan Club Poland (AC Milan), Romanisti dalla Polonia (AS Roma), True Blues Poland (Chelsea), West Ham Poland (West Ham), Warsaw Gunners FC (Arsenal FC) and Valencianistas Polonia (Valencia CF). The event was held at the Concordia Municipal Stadium in Piotrkow Trybunalski, where the mayor and the deputy mayor of the town were present to greet the participants.
Due to the odd number of registered teams, the tournament was played in a “all against all” format, occupying an entire day of football. After all the matches were played, the winning team was Warsaw Gunners FC, with Romanisti dalla Polonia in second place and Fan Club Barça Polska in third. In addition, individual awards were presented to the best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper. Beyond the winners, the competition was characterized by fair play among all participants.
