PB Villalpando and PB Dakar commemorate their anniversaries

The supporters’ club from the Federación Castilla y León celebrated 28 years of history, while the Senegalese penya from the FCB World Federation marked 3 years since its creation.

Two Barça supporters’ clubs recently brought their members together to celebrate their respective anniversaries. On the one hand, Peña Barcelonista Villalpando (Federación de Peñas de Castilla y León) commemorated the organisation’s 28 years of history; on the other, Penya Blaugrana de Dakar (FCB World Federation) has reached 3 years of activity. These are two examples that show once again that the blaugrana passion knows no borders of any kind.

28th anniversary of PB Villalpando

The town of Villalpando, in the province of Zamora, showed that it lives Barça support with intensity thanks to its local supporters’ club: Peña Barcelonista de Villalpando. The organisation, chaired by Carlos Casado, celebrated its 28th anniversary with a blaugrana gathering that, in addition to its own members, also brought together supporters from PB Tierras del Cid, PB Palentina and PB Maragata. They all met in Villalpando’s Plaza Mayor to celebrate the trophies won by the first team this year, and later enjoyed a fellowship dinner. Fireworks brought a very festive day to a close for all those in attendance.

3rd anniversary of PB Dakar

As for Penya Blaugrana de Dakar, it took its members to the coastal town of Somone to jointly celebrate 3 years since the creation of the Barça supporters’ club in Senegal. The members shared a day full of joy, companionship and good humour, fully reflecting the values that unite them as a Barça family. There was fun for adults and children alike, a strong presence of the blaugrana colours, and the commemorative cake for this 3rd anniversary was not missing either. Since its official recognition in June 2023, PB Dakar has already become one of the leading supporters’ clubs on the African continent.
