Once again, Fan Club Barça Polska did not miss the occasion and brought its members together for the penya’s traditional Summer Gathering. The setting was Olsztynek, in the Masuria region, north of the city of Warsaw, where the members and their families shared three days full of activities in a very special environment. It was a stay that strengthened the strong Barça bond that unites all members of Fan Club Barça Polska.
Recreational and institutional activity
After many of the attendees had already arrived at the accommodation on Thursday, the gathering officially began on Friday with a special focus on the youngest participants, who enjoyed inflatables and other children’s games. In the evening, the president of Fan Club Barça Polska, Marek Palarczyk, officially welcomed all participants and a fellowship dinner was held.
The following day, despite the changeable weather conditions, the members were able to take part in a volleyball tournament and enjoyed the natural surroundings offered by the venue. The day also stood out for its institutional side, with the General Assembly of Fan Club Barça Polska, which included the election of new members of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. Marek Palarczyk was re-elected president of the penya, while Paulina Kałużna-Skurpel was elected chair of the Audit Committee.

Sharing the blaugrana passion
Due to the rain, the traditional bonfire planned for Saturday evening was replaced by a covered barbecue. This space became the setting for conversations and debates among all the members about the latest Barça news. Some were already beginning to plan their trips to support the team, once the Champions League schedule had been announced. The gathering came to an end on Sunday with a shared breakfast before the members returned to their respective places of residence.
Despite the hundreds of kilometres that separate some of the members of Fan Club Barça Polska, this new edition of the Summer Gathering once again showed that sharing the Barça passion creates a bond that stands above everything else. The Polish penya thanked all attendees for their participation, as well as the involvement of the families and the youngest members, who helped create a unique atmosphere throughout the weekend.
