The Penya Solera Barcelonista de Calella, which belongs to the Federació de Penyes del Maresme, recently held the presentation of its traditional end-of-season awards: the XXIV Mario Munt Memorial and the VII Joan Juan Tresserras Memorial. Through these awards, the Barça supporters’ club aims to recognise, on the one hand, the most promising player in FC Barcelona’s men’s team and, on the other, the most outstanding player in the women’s squad. Both awards are named after two key figures in the history of Penya Solera: founder Mario Munt and former president Joan Juan Tresserras.
Clàudia Pina and Tommy Marquès, the best of the season
This year, Penya Solera Barcelonista awarded the VII Joan Juan Tresserras Memorial to Clàudia Pina, recognising the extraordinary season of the Montcada i Reixac forward, who, among other achievements, finished as the top scorer in Liga F 2025-26. The striker’s mother, Beatriz Medina, received the award on her daughter’s behalf from Margarita Tresserras, widow of Joan Juan Tresserras and a board member of Penya Solera. Pina succeeds Patri Guijarro and joins a list of winners that includes names such as Alexia, Aitana, Mapi León, Marta Torrejón and Graham Hansen.
Meanwhile, the XXIV Mario Munt Memorial was awarded to Tomàs “Tommy” Marquès, a 19-year-old player developed at La Masia who made his debut for the men’s first team this season and has a bright future ahead of him. His father, Quim Marquès, received the award from several members of Mario Munt’s family. Tommy Marquès now joins a list of winners featuring names such as Iniesta, Thiago, Bartra, Riqui Puig, Gavi, Casadó, Lamine Yamal and Cubarsí, among others.
The event was attended by Isidre Argelés, president of the Penya Solera Barcelonista de Calella, together with the rest of the penya’s board members. Also present were Ramon Pruna, president of the Federació de Penyes del Maresme; Marc Buch, mayor of Calella; Manel Vicente, councillor and club member; and Joan Ramon Ramos Raich, representative of Barça Women. In addition to the many members of Penya Solera de Calella, supporters from PB Collblanc-Torrassa, PB Tsunami Blaugrana, PB Pep Ventura, PB Teixonera, PB Mataró, PB Palafolls, PB Tordera and PB Sils also attended.
