Over the last two weekends, the Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes del Barcelonès Est has held two of its most traditional and popular activities among its penyes: the IV Padel Tournament, organized by Penya Blaugrana Trinitat Vella, and the Domino Tournament, organized by Penya Barcelonista de Sant Adrià del Besòs. Beyond the competitions themselves, both events brought together several penyes from the Barcelona federation for days filled with fellowship and a great atmosphere.
IV Padel Tournament
The IV Padel Tournament of the Federació Barcelonès Est took place at the Bon Pastor courts and brought together a total of 24 participants divided into 12 pairs. Organized by PB Trinitat Vella, led by its president Alfredo López and part of the board, the event included representatives from six supporters’ clubs in the federation: PB Foment Martinenc, PB Can Baró, PB Teixonera, PB Bon Pastor and PB Congrés, in addition to PB Trinitat Vella itself.
The competition began with four groups of three pairs. The top-ranked teams advanced to the gold stage, where the semifinals and final were decided, while the second- and third-placed teams moved on to the silver stage, where the remaining positions were determined. Trophies were awarded to the top four pairs, and all participants also received gifts. It was a morning of padel and a fantastic atmosphere among all the supporters who took part in the tournament.
New Domino Tournament
The Domino Tournament is one of the most long-standing activities within the Federació de Penyes del Barcelonès Est, as it has been held for many years. The latest edition was recently organized by PB Sant Adrià del Besòs, headed by José Manuel Rubio. The entity hosted 16 pairs at its venue from PB Bon Pastor, PB Districte XXVII La Sagrera, PB Congrés, PB Tsunami Blaugrana, PB Teixonera, PB Can Baró, PB Trinitat Vella and PB Sant Adrià del Besòs itself. Members of Club Natació Sant Andreu also took part.
The activity was attended by David Angulo, president of the Federació de Penyes del Barcelonès Est. An initial stage with four groups was followed by the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. A positive atmosphere was the common thread throughout all the matches, in which the supporters shared emotion and Barça feeling. In this way, the Federació Barcelonès Est continues to strengthen the bond among the different entities that are part of it.
