Federación de Canarias organises a charity raffle for those affected in La Palma

All proceeds will be donated to the families affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano. The prizes will include two FC Barcelona shirts signed by the team and lots of Blaugrana products.

Fortunately, the Cumbre Vieja volcano ceased its eruption in mid-December, but the effects it has left on the island of La Palma are still devastating for many of its inhabitants. In order to raise funds to help these people, the Federación de Peñas de Canarias has launched a charity raffle. The main prize will be two FC Barcelona shirts signed by the players of the men’s first team. There wil also be 10 packs of FC Barcelona products (football, a set of historic pins and pen).

How to participate

To participate, you must enter the Federación de Canarias website, register and make a transfer of 1 euro for each ticket you want. You will then receive a four-digit number with which you will participate in the draw. The first prize will go to the number that coincides with the last four digits of the winning ticket of the ONCE draw on 30 May. Rest of winners will be known following the same criteria in the ONCE draws held from that day onwards.

The total proceeds of the draw will go directly to needy families and civil associations of La Palma, including the PB Villa de Mazo. Thus, the help will be more direct and quicker. In autumn, in the middle of the volcano eruption, the Federación de Canarias already made a donation of 1,000 euros to the solidarity bank accounts of the town councils of Los Llanos de Aridane and El Paso. PB Pedrito from Tenerife and PB “Nicolás Casaus” from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, among others, also made contributions. Also some supporters helped on a personal basis.

The Supporters’ Clubs World Confederation continues to encourage all its members to participate in these initiatives. They perfectly represent the values of the Barcelona movement.
