Official opening of the Penya Blaugrana d’Olvan

The penya belonging to the Federació del Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya held an event at the Ateneu of Olvan with the presence of institutional representatives and members of the penyes movement.

The Penya Blaugrana d’Olvan brought together Barça supporters from its municipality, as well as others arriving from different parts of the region, to celebrate the start of its journey within the penyes world following its official recognition in October 2025. The official opening ceremony of the entity, which is part of the Federació de Penyes del Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya, took place at the Ateneu of Olvan and featured a notable institutional presence along with representatives of the Barça penyes movement.

The president of PB Olvan, Marta Solanich, hosted the event, which was also attended by Antoni Valverde, president of the Federació de Penyes del Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya; Josep Ignasi Macià, member of the FC Barcelona Board of Directors; and Sebastià Prat, Mayor of Olvan. In addition, several penyes from the same federation did not want to miss the celebration, including PB Santpedor, PB Manresa, PB Sallent, PB Berga, PB Gironella and PB Bagà Blaugrana. Another special guest was CAT, the FC Barcelona mascot, who delighted the youngest attendees.

A very dynamic penya from the beginning

During the event, institutional speeches were delivered, a commemorative plaque marking the official inauguration of PB Olvan was unveiled, and an FC Barcelona training shirt signed by Marc Bernal was raffled among the members of the penya. The PB Olvan was founded as a Barça ambassador in its municipality, but also with the aim of strengthening community ties and promoting the values of sport, friendship and respect. The entity aspires to become an open space for everyone, where people of all ages can come together to celebrate blaugrana successes. In addition, some of its members have already been present at first team away matches, such as this week trip to Madrid.
