Penya AraBlaugrana of Nazareth, a member of the FCB Word Federation, collaborated in the stay of 60 children aged between 10 and 14 in Barcelona to take part in a summer football camp. The initiative, organised by LaLina Sports Camps and the Barça Academy, received the support of the supporters’ club to make it possible for young Arab footballers from several football schools in the Nazareth region to enjoy an unforgettable Barça-themed week in the Catalan capital.
Head of board of PB AraBlaugrana, Mahmoud Shikha, was one of those who led the group, along with Lina Tibi, founder of LaLina Sports Camps. Thanks to her project, Arab children have the chance to experience these special football stays. Along with Barça, the company has organized camps with other clubs such as Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Atlético de Madrid.

A week full of activities
During their stay in Barcelona, the children had the opportunity to train at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper facilities and also visit spaces such as the FC Barcelona Museum and the FCB Shop. One of the most notable moments was the reception at the headquarters of the World Confederation of Penyes, where the head of board of PB AraBlaugrana explained more details to the young visitors about the history of Barça and its penyes movement.
In this way, the children were able to learn more closely about the values that have made the Barça penyes movement a benchmark around the world. During the week of 12 July, another member of PB AraBlaugrana is also organising a camp for children in the city of Barcelona. In this way, the supporters’ club from Nazareth demonstrates its commitment to promoting grassroots football in its country and its strong bond with Barça and all the values it represents.
