PB Estelí and PB Panama deliver toys to hospitals

Central American supporters’ clubs show their solidarity with youngsters during Christmas time.

One of the main concerns of many FC Barcelona supporters’ clubs during the Christmas holidays is that all children receive their toys, with special priority given to the most disadvantaged families and also to those children who are hospitalised. This year, two of the entities that have carried out actions in this sense are in Central America: the Peña Barcelonista de Estelí (Nicaragua) and the Peña Familia Blaugrana de Panamá, both belonging to the FCB World Federation.

In the case of the PB Estelí, after the success of its toy collection campaign, the organization sent four of their members to the Regional Hospital San Juan de Dios de Estelí to deliver them to the children admitted to the paediatric ward. This action highlights the social commitment that the PB Estelí has with the most needy population of its region, and especially with the youngest, for whom Christmas is a particularly delicate time of year.

For its part, the PB Familia Blaugrana Panamá contributed along with other entities to the distribution of toys at the Hospital del Niño Doctor José Renán Esquivel, in Panama City. In this case, two members of the club took part in the action, which also included a magic show that entertained the little ones. The PB Familia Blaugrana Panama is characterised by its continuous solidarity actions throughout the year.
