As is customary at this time of year, a large number of FC Barcelona penyes are holding events with their members to mark the end of the season. This year, the titles won by the men’s first football team and the excitement generated among fans have added an extra layer of celebration for all attendees. In every case, these events have also helped strengthen the “culer” community present throughout the territories.
Supporters’ lunches in the Federació Lleida Sud i la Franja
The Penya Barcelonista Puigverd de Lleida (Federació Lleida Sud) was one of the penyes that brought its members together for a new edition of its supporters’ lunch, which also served to celebrate the penya’s 21st anniversary. Around a hundred guests attended, led by Claudi Bosch, president of PB Puigverd de Lleida and of the Federació Lleida Sud i la Franja, with the presence of former player Pere Valentí Mora. Attendees received gifts, and the atmosphere was full of Barça spirit.
The Penya Barcelonista Lleida 1970, from the same federation, gathered over fifty members and supporters at its event, led by its president, Josep Vigatà. The penya paid special tribute to members number 1 and 2, as well as to the president himself, for their long-standing dedication. Gifts were distributed to attendees, with contributions from the Confederació Mundial de Penyes.
Gatherings across the territory
The Penya Blaugrana La Pobla de Lillet (Federació Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya) also organized its 18th Barça Fest, which was a great success in terms of attendance. The penya, led by Ricard Hernández, offered its members a festive day at the local municipal pavilion, including live “havaneres” music and a Barça-themed raffle with prizes such as FC Barcelona shirts.
Other penyes that gathered their members included the Penya Barcelonista de Sueras (Federació Comarques de Castelló), the Penya Barcelonista de Sant Andreu de la Barca (Federació Baix Llobregat), and the Penya Barcelonista Montgrí i Comarca (Federació Empordà i Catalunya Nord). The PB Sueras held its annual lunch in a vibrant Barça atmosphere, while the PB Sant Andreu de la Barca continued its tradition with the members’ breakfast. The PB Montgrí i Comarca hosted its members’ dinner in a great atmosphere with live music.
