The penyes movement once again took centre stage during the National Day of Catalunya. Once more, organisations from across Catalonia showed the strong bond between Barça passion and Catalan sentiment by actively taking part in the floral tributes and other events organised in their respective municipalities. Thanks to them, the day once again featured a blaugrana touch that could be seen all over the country.
In the city of Barcelona, PB Almogàvers, PB Nostra Ensenya and PB Sang Culé once again played a leading role in the events organised at the Fossar de les Moreres, with a large representation of their members in attendance. In the case of Sang Culé, it once again set up its own stand, offering materials and information about the penya.

Floral tributes everywhere
Across Catalonia, Barça penyes made their presence felt at the respective floral tributes. This was the case for PB Sant Adrià de Besòs (Fed. Barcelonès Est); PB Sant Andreu de la Barca (Fed. Baix Llobregat); PB Sant Cugat, PB Palautordera, PB Parets del Vallès, PB Ripollet and PB Calderina (Fed. Vallès); PB Santpedor and PB Navarcles (Fed. Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya); PB Lleida 1970 (Fed. Fed. Lleida Sud i la Franja); PB Almogàvers Empordà (Fed. Empordà i Catalunya Nord); PB Cubelles (Fed. Tarragona Nord); PB Agramunt i Comarca (Fed. Ponent Nord); PB Avi Xaxu, PB Solera Calella, PB Pineda de Mar and PB Canet de Mar (Fed. Maresme); and PB Sitges (Fed. Anoia, Alt Penedès and Garraf), among many others.
Outside Catalonia, supporters’ clubs from the FCB World Federation also marked the National Day, aware of the Barça and Catalan connection. Organisations such as PB Familia Blaugrana de Panamá, for example, even carried out their own symbolic floral tribute. Gestures like this show the sensitivity that penyes around the world have towards the Catalan sentiment inherent in FC Barcelona.
