Blaugrana pride in penyes tournaments in Poland, the Czech Republic and China

Fair play among supporters’ clubs has once again taken centre stage around the world with the staging of several football tournaments which featured Barça supporters. If a few weeks ago it was the turn of PB Nova York and PB Rincón del Barça en México, this time it was Fan Club Barça Polska, Penya Barcelonista Lleó de Dues Cues and Penya Blaugrana de Shanghai who proudly defended the blaugrana colours in their respective countries. And all of them performed very well, as the Polish penya won its tournament, while the Czech and Chinese supporters finished as runners-up.

Blaugrana trophy in Markowice

The Fan Club Barça Polska team took part in the 9th Hubert Kostka Football Tournament, which was held recently in the town of Markowice, located in central Poland. The Barça supporters lifted the champions’ trophy after showing great superiority in a competition where they faced supporters’ clubs of Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, as well as local team LKS 0

In a round-robin format, the blaugrana team won every match, scoring a total of 30 goals and conceding just one. In addition, the Fan Club Barça Polska team also received the awards for best player of the tournament and top scorer. It was therefore a stellar performance by the blaugrana side, in an atmosphere where respect among all teams prevailed.

Runners-up in Jezov and Shanghai

In the Czech Republic, PB Lleó de Dues Cues once again took part in the Penyes Football Tournament in Jezov, which, in addition to Barça supporters, featured teams from AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool FC, Cologne, Juventus and Everton. In this 6th edition of the trophy, the Czech supporters came close to winning the title in a final that slipped away from them in the penalty shootout. In any case, they once again proudly defended the blaugrana colours in an event marked by a great atmosphere among all the supporters of the different teams.

Finally, Penya Blaugrana de Shanghai took part in a very particular football challenge called Magnolia Cage, together with the supporters’ clubs of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich. It is a 2-a-side tournament in an octagonal cage where play never stops, and where several special rules make the matches especially exciting. After a very good performance, PB Shanghai finished as runner-up in the competition.
