A young member of PB San Diego trains with PB Cinc Copes

Thanks to the efforts of the FCB World Federation and the World Confederation of Supporters’ Clubs, the young goalkeeper shared a training session with the U14 team of the penya from Barcelona.

The blaugrana community that the supporters’ clubs movement creates on a global scale is demonstrated time and time again by the continuous exchanges, visits, agreements and synergies that take place between penyes around the world. One of the latest examples was recently found with the Penya Blaugrana San Diego (Federación Mundo) and the Penya Barcelonista Cinc Copes (Federació Barcelonès Est) involved, and the protagonist was a young football player from the American supporters’ club, who was able to live a special experience.

On the occasion of the visit that some members of the PB San Diego have made to Barcelona this week, this 12-year-old boy from the Californian penya has been able to take part in a training session with the PB Cinc Copes U14 team. The boy has participated in the training as an ordinary member of the team, and has received a great welcome from all the players of the penya from Barcelona. In addition, he has been able to live and learn in first person the preparation of the PB Cinc Copes, which has an important trajectory in grassroots football in the Catalan city.

This agreement has been made possible thanks to the arrangements by the FCB World Federation and the World Confederation of Supporters’ Clubs, which always encourage contact between penyes from all over the world. Once again, it is clear that the blaugrana sentiment knows no borders or languages, and that supporters’ clubs see football as a place of fellowship and respect.
