Chess for all ages at PB Sant Cugat

The penya organized a day of simultaneous games with grandmaster Luis Agüero

The Penya Blaugrana de Sant Cugat (Federació de Penyes del Vallès) offered last Saturday to its members a day dedicated to chess. With the collaboration of Club d’Escacs Sant Cugat, the club organized a session of simultaneous games in which a total of 25 players between 5 and 80 years old took part. All of them tested their expertise at the board against grandmaster Luis Agüero, member of the first team of Club d’Escacs Sant Cugat.

The day was attended by the president of the PB Sant Cugat, Josep Maria Félez, and the secretary of the Club d’Escacs Sant Cugat, Jordi de la Plaza. Both gave a diploma all participants and congratulated each other for the good participation of the simultaneous games.. This is the third edition of this day dedicated to chess by the PB Sant Cugat. In view of the success of the event, the Barcelona entity intends to give continuity to this initiative.
