India will watch the women’s team thanks to PB Kerala

Thanks to PB Kozhikode-Kerala, Barça-Wolfsburg will be the first women’s football match with a public screening in India

In addition to promoting and transmitting azulgrana feeling in their city or territory, sometimes the Barcelona supporters’ clubs that are part of the FCB World Federation (in more than 70 countries) are able to go further. They can even reach achievements that no one else has ever achieved before. Today, it will be the case of Penya del Barça Kozhikode-Kerala. Thanks to its conviction, tonight’s Barça-Wolfsburg will be the first women’s soccer match to have a public screening in India.

In fact, the supporters’ club has not only achieved this pioneering action for the visibility of women’s soccer in their country, but has also done it fivefold. The Champions League semi-final match will be shown in four Indian locations (Kozhikode, Trivandrum, Kochi and Bangalore), but also in the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

With less than a year as a official supporters’ club of the World Federation, the PB Kozhikode-Kerala has already revolutionized the culé universe in its region. Now, is doing the same with women’s football with this first ever screening in India. As was the case with the last Clásico, a large turnout is expected for all the screenings in all five venues.
