The headquarters of the Confederació Mundial de Penyes received last Sunday about 40 members of the USA Penyes Barça Tour. They were the members of the USA Penyes Barça Tour expedition, which for the second year has visited the city of Barcelona to carry out a whole weekend of blaugrana activities. The group, led by the president of the PB Houston, Victor Valencheck, included members of the PB Washington DC, the PB New York, the PB Garden State Blaugrana of New Jersey, the PB Fresno, the PB Los Angeles and the PB Dallas.
The American supporters were received by representatives of the Confederació, as well as the FCB World Federation, which have lent its collaboration for the organization of this trip. All of them shared a lunch, as well as blaugrana experiences and passion. A little over a year ago, in March 2023, the members of the USA Penyes Barça Tour already visited the headquarters of the club, where they attended a historical conference about Barça.
A complete weekend
The American culers landed in Barcelona on Friday, when they had their first welcome meeting. On Saturday, the main event was the U19 match between Barça and Espanyol, which the supporters watched live at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. On Sunday, the members of the USA Barça Penyes Tour experienced their most intense day with a visit to the Barça Immersive Tour and the Museum, followed by a visit to the Barça Store, ending with the aforementioned visit to the Confederació Mundial de Penyes.
The trip ended on Monday with some of the American supporters attending the La Liga match between Barça and Valencia, with a reception beforehand by the Club. The change of schedule for the match, previously set for Saturday at midday, meant that the whole expedition was unable to go up to Montjuïc.
