PB Hanoi gathers 600 people at its 7th anniversary party

The Vietnamese supporters’ club, the fourth largest in the FCB World Federation, organised a football tournament, a gala celebration and a viewing of El Clasico.

That supporters’ clubs are ambassadors for Barcelona around the world and that they are the best meeting point for supporters in a city, region or country, no matter how far away it may be, has been demonstrated on numerous occasions. One of the most recent examples of this has been the Penya Blaugrana de Hanoi. On the celebration of its 7th anniversary, the Vietnamese organisation, which belongs to the FCB World Federation, brought together 600 of its members for a day full of activities.

Gala celebration

The setting was the city of Saigon in southern Vietnam. The celebrations began in the morning with a football tournament in which four teams made up of PB Hanoi members took part. Competitiveness and fair play marked the activity, in which more than 150 culers were involved.

At midday, the big gala celebration of the 7th anniversary of the PB Hanoi took place. With some 200 guests, the supporters’ club recreated the format of a wedding, which included the awarding of the various prizes to the winners and most outstanding players of the football tournament. There were also presentation of gifts for the attendants. There was also the cutting of the commemorative cake.

Viewing of the Clásico

The 7th anniversary celebration ended in the evening with the viewing of the Clásico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, for which the PB Hanoi gathered 600 Barcelona fans. The event included activities such as a skills competition, acrobatic football exhibition, musical performances and also a draw with Barça gifts. Although the result of the Clásico did not go as expected, all the attendees left with the conviction of having experienced an unforgettable blaugrana day.
