Once again this year, the Peña Barcelonista Villabalter, of the Federación de Peñas Barcelonistas de Castilla y León, has collaborated with the Colegio San Juan de la Cruz Carmelitas Descalzos, of León, in a new edition of its Solidarity Bingo. The supporters’ club has provided official FC Barcelona shirts, shirts of the penya itself and also some merchandising materials for the school to include them in this initiative. he president of the PB Villabalter, Jorge Moreno, the vice-president Recaredo Fernandez and the member Fernando Barazon delivered the material to Jorge Díez, secretary and member of the School Council of the Colegio San Juan de la Cruz.
All the proceeds of this initiative are destined to the social and solidarity work of the “Casa Santa Teresita” Project in Cascales, Ecuador. Its mission is to provide resources to a home for young people from 5 to 17 years old who are orphans or have few economic resources. The objective is to educate them in a family and inclusive environment. For 20 years, PB Villabalter has been one of the collaborating entities with this solidarity action of the Colegio San Juan de la Cruz.
