The long-awaited Liga title for the FC Barcelona men’s first team, the first in recent years, finally arrived and the Confederació Mundial de Penyes, its territorial federations and all the supporters’ clubs celebrated it properly. In addition to the penyes belonging to the Catalan and national federations, which filled their headquarters with their members to celebrate the championship, the supporters’ clubs of the FCB World Federation, with a presence in 70 countries, did not miss the event in their respective cities spread across all continents.
From the American West Coast, with clubs such as PB Los Angeles, PB San Diego or PB Las Vegas, through PB Washington, PB Sao Paulo or PB Panama, to the Asian continent with PB Mumbai (India) or PB Indobarça (Indonesia), all of them unleashed their euphoria. In Europe, PB Paris, PB Dublin and PB London also made their voices heard after securing the league title. Once again, thanks to the presence of the supporters’ clubs movement around the world, the blaugrana successes crossed borders.
Presence at the champions’ parade
As could not be otherwise, the supporters’ clubs were also protagonists in the great victory parade that the men’s and women’s teams held yesterday. Members of penyes such as PB Almogàvers and PB London took to the streets of Barcelona to celebrate the title with the players. Some entities even got the interaction of the champions: Ansu Fati wore the scarf of PB San Diego during part of the tour and Alexia Putellas was photographed with the emblem of the PB “Los Gabarreros” from El Espinar.
