Penyes continue to promote base football around the world

The PB Maria de la Salut, the PB Collblanc-Las Cortes and the PB Rincón del Barça México have put the boots on the youngest players.

The promotion of football, and of sporting activity in general, among the youngest members is one of the many values that define Barça supporters’ clubs around the world. Recently, some penyes have demonstrated this through various activities or initiatives that have led boys and girls to put on their boots and take to the field.

One of these entities was the Penya Barcelonista Maria de la Salut, of the Federació de Penyes de les Illes Balears. In collaboration with this federation and the local team, F.C. Maria de la Salut, the Municipal School of football of this penya barcelonista organized a Football Day last Sunday. The setting was the Maria de la Salut Sports Center, where several teams gathered to share a football and festive morning with prominence for the youngest.

On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, the Peña Rincón del Barça en Mexico, belonging to the FCB World Federation, also staged its children’s team. Specifically, the Mexican entity participated in the 9th Yucatan International Beach Soccer Cup, held in the city of Merida. Recently, the PB Rincón del Barça en Mexico has expanded in this region of the Yucatan with the aim of continuing to grow its community in the country. On this occasion, the youngest members of the club were the protagonists.

Commitment to women’s grassroots football in PB Collblanc-Les Corts

Another penya that has intensified its commitment to grassroots football, and in this case the women’s teams, is the Penya Barcelonista Collblanc-Les Corts. A month ago, the entity of the Federació del Barcelonès Oest launched two weekly trainings for girls of various ages, free of charge and without any commitment. In this way, the PB Collblanc-Les Corts puts the seed to form future women’s teams to add to its solid structure of grassroots football. Any interested girl can contact the club through their social networks.
