Penyes bid farewell to the USA Tour in Las Vegas

The Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas led the mobilization of the Barça fans at Allegiant Stadium, the last stop of the North American preseason tour.

The preseason tour of the FC Barcelona men’s team made its last stop in Las Vegas and, as happened in Los Angeles and Dallas, the supporters’ clubs of the FCB World Federation again had a high dose of prominence. In this case, the one that led the way was the host entity, the Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas, which had marked this day in red on the calendar since the announcement of the tour.

The penya began its activity the day before the match with a “Meet&Greet” in the place where it usually meets to watch Barça matches. There, in addition to its members, it also received all the Barça fans who wanted to come. Among other things, a raffle was held to win two tickets for the next day’s match, and blaugrana gifts were also handed out. In addition, there was a very special visit from the City Council: the Mayor of Las Vegas, who declared July 31 as “Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas Day” in this city. This milestone demonstrates the weight of the PB Las Vegas within their community.

Blaugrana entourage to the Allegiant Stadium

On the day of the match, the PB Las Vegas summoned its members, and all the culers who wanted to join, in a local near the Allegiant Stadium two hours before the kick-off. There, a pre-game meeting was held to warm up and share the Barcelona passion of all the attendees, who headed together towards the stadium as the start time for the match against AC Milan approached.

Once at the stadium, all FC Barcelona supporters did their best to cheer on Xavi Hernandez’s players. In addition to the Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas members, there were also supporters from other organizations such as the Penya Blaugrana San Diego. The 1-0 victory against the Italian team was the icing on the cake of a very special day for all the culers of Las Vegas, who once again were able to see their beloved team.
