The 13th Summer Meeting of the PB Alts Tatras brings together culers of all ages

The penya once again commemorated Children’s Day by offering a weekend full of activities, with special emphasis on its youngest members

Last weekend, the Penya Barcelonista Eslovaca dels Alts Tatras (FCB World Federation) held one of the most eagerly anticipated events for its members after the end of the season: the Summer Meeting. The 13th edition of this initiative once again celebrated Children’s Day, which in Slovakia takes place on June 1, creating a very family-friendly atmosphere and giving special prominence to the youngest culers. The event took place in the town of Prievidza, in central Slovakia, where members of the PB Eslovaca Alts Tatras shared three days full of togetherness, joy, and Barça passion.

Days full of activities and fun

The Summer Gathering of the PB Alts Tatras featured a variety of activities, with a strong focus on football. The youngest participants enjoyed the sport throughout the entire weekend, and the traditional match between children and adults once again took place (with the youngsters winning 2–1). In addition, the PB Alts Tatras organized an outing to the nearby town of Bojnice, home to a castle and a zoo that delighted the young culers. Members also shared a meal at a restaurant owned by one of the penya’s members.

The PB Eslovaca Alts Tatras also raffled prizes among all attendees, who enjoyed a very pleasant few days. As always, the penya fosters a family atmosphere during this Summer Meeting, focusing on the new generations of culers in Slovakia and strengthening the sense of unity within the group. Next year will undoubtedly be another highly anticipated occasion for everyone. On the other hand, the PB Eslovaca Alts Tatras is already working on organizing an Autumn Meeting, scheduled for next October.
