The official opening of the Penya Barcelonista Cotlliure was a weekend full of all kinds of blaugrana activities
After a year of waiting due to the pandemic, the Penya Barcelonista de Cotlliure (Federació Alt Empordà i Catalunya Nord) was able to celebrate its official opening. The meeting was a really ‘culé’ celebration attended by more than 200 supporters members of 30 different supporters’ clubs who dyed every corner of the Nord-catalan town with blaugrana colours.
All the participants were able to enjoy a dozen events over three days and of very different types. Friday was dedicated to the more cultural and festive events of the town, such as the visit to the Antonio Machado’s tomb; Saturday was the most institutional day with the conference of the Confederation “Barça i Catalunya: Temps de Foscor”, and Sunday closed the meeting with an informative, emotional and supportive talk about ALS by Juan Carlos Unzué. Supporters from the PB Cotlliure feel “deeply proud that we were able to live the essence of Barça, that all the activities went as we had dreamed and to represent the Club of our hearts in our town”.
